Simons reccie ride to Ali Pali

A very late lunch at Ali Pali. Ater a ride to 11's at the Ace café and then through various parks and open spaces to Ali Pali, then on again through a myriad of parks, old railway lines to tea at West Hampstead. A really nice, but hilly, ride in the sunshine.

Hi Remainers What a fabulous ride to Sniggles (Nibbles) Café in Datchet Lets make all efforts to attend this Friday to show appreciation to the few individuals who administrate, organise, plot routes and lead rides for you all to enjoy. Attending the rides is a means of thanking the above mentioned riders who carry out the behind the scenes work to keep the EFR operating in such a smooth manner Some on the remainers list still have not attended a ride this year, as yet. A fastish bimble to Datchet

Image
Rain forecast but very little materialised. Only 4 hardy rider surfaced at Cafe Nero, coffee and a late start. Waiting for the non show whimps. Chiggi led a speedy ride to Datchet and drizzle started so we ended up at Nibbles for sausage sanis and coffee. Oh and cake. A leisurely chat and the time flew by. Rain abated off we set for home, again Chiggi pushing the pace, I think she had ants in her pants as the pace was around  17/18 mph. A nice short ride given the weather forecast.

Friday ride update

One of the three pubs, The Cock Inn which we were considering as our lunch stop will be closed tomorrow. So we will choose between our usual stop The Boot, or The Cricketers for a. change. See you tomorrow at 9:15 for the departure at 9:30. Chiggi
